I spent ten years as the key digital strategist at ARTdiscount.co.uk, one of the UK's leading art supply retailers. Over that decade I grew the business from £1.2M to £4M in revenue — through SEO, PPC, email automation, affiliate partnerships, and a Shopify migration that delivered a 30% uplift in conversion rate with zero organic traffic loss. I built their email ecosystem to 25,000 subscribers and a Facebook community of nearly 15,000 artists. I wasn't an outsider applying generic tactics. I built a 5,000+ product database using API-driven technology, ranked #3 for 'cheap art supplies' from a DA30 domain, and scaled to 30,000 email subscribers and a 15,000-strong Facebook community. It wasn't a side project. It was proof of concept: I could build organic traffic, grow an audience, and generate recurring revenue in a niche I knew intimately.
